Relax is one of the nicer coffee houses in Hull, with more than enough seats to enjoy a coffee in comfort.
It’s part of Newland Avenue, a bustling student street, near the railway bridge.
Relax seems to have the largest collection of leather sofas this side of DFS, so it’s cosy and comfortable. Art is scattered around the walls and the place has a haphazard but strangely charming style. There is a big range of coffees and other tempting drink options including fruit smoothies.
It is also very friendly, doesn’t seem to get too busy (based on a couple of visits), and all in all not a bad place to sit in peace with a coffee.

i am now a total convert to this delightful coffee house,the owner Gaz is very friendly and his cappuchino,s are excellent,highly recommended
I used this coffee shop a few months ago. Very good cappucino but I was not at all impressed with the cleanliness of the loos. Put me off i’m afraid.
