Sip Coffee, Richmond
|
This is a does-what-it-says-on-the-tin sort of café. It's small and straight-forward, and a very good place to sip coffee in Richmond. |
The walls are coffee-coloured to get you in the mood and the mugs have been painted specially for Sip (a nice touch). There are newspapers available, a couple of comfy leather chairs by the window and local art on the walls.
The service is friendly, and it's in a convenient spot between the tourist information and the market place. As well as hot drinks there is a tempting choice of sweet things.
It may be small but it's perfectly formed.

Welcome to Cosy Coffee Shops, a blog dedicated to seeking out terrific independent coffee houses. Some are particularly comfy and relaxing, some serve outstanding coffee, some have both. Most serve drinks that are ethically sourced (for example, Fairtrade). We've visited everywhere at least once. Read more about this blog...

We visited this coffee shop over the Easter weekend and thought the coffee was absolutely delicious. We do like our coffee and sometimes think we are a bit too fussy but this was spot on.
Sip also does great paninis!
