Top Notch
Top Notch is a label I give to my favourite coffee shops.
A coffee shop which is "top notch for coffee" is one where I particularly enjoyed the coffee.... fairly obvious really. A lot of places I've only visited once and I might have missed out on their best offerings, so just because a place isn't top notch doesn't mean it's not good. In fact, every place on this blog is great!
"Top notch for charm" means it's a really comfy, characterful place, regardless of how good the coffee is.
This is all very un-scientific.
