binTwo, Padstow

binTwo was a rare treat – a terrific coffee shop we stumbled upon completely by chance.

Despite its famous foodie pedigree, we weren’t expecting too much – coffee-wise – from the beautiful tourist-trap of Padstow, one of the first stops on our first visit to Cornwall.

Then up-popped binTwo. Mainly a wine merchant, but also very much a coffee shop, with coffee-geek owners and beans from well-regarded London roastery Monmouth.

In this most touristy of corners, we were little short of overjoyed by our coffees, which were fantastic.

Space inside is sorely limited, but on a sunny day the space out-front is just a brilliant place to sit back and watch the world go by.

We scoured Padstow for coffee and binTwo was the best. Not to be missed.
